VIEW AS A WEBPAGE

FOR YOUNG PERSONS

THE BOOK OF COMMON PRAYER

God our Father, you see your children growing up in an

unsteady and confusing world: Show them that your ways

give more life than the ways of the world, and that following

you is better than chasing after selfish goals. Help them to

take failure, not as a measure of their worth, but as a chance

for a new start. Give them strength to hold their faith in you,

and to keep alive their joy in your creation; through Jesus

Christ our Lord. Amen.

St. Mark's and the Cathedral in Erie (Erie Episcopal) have had a long time partnership with the Charter School of Excellence in Erie. While there are many projects and collaborations between the two organizations, one of the most impactful each year is the Winter Gear Collection. Through the generous donations of members, our outreach team is able to purchase close to 200 coats for students in need. For many students, this may in fact be the first new coat they have ever owned. We are grateful for this partnership and the ongoing support of our members to make these efforts possible. Dear Friends,

As we continue in a time of much transition, please know that we are working hard to better communicate information with a focus on our congregation's ministries. The volume of things happening in our congregations is impressive and to be celebrated, thank you.

Our e-blasts and newsletter formats are something that we are each week looking to improve. Thank you for your patience as we explore the best formats possible to meet the needs of the partnership. Perfection belongs only to our Lord, but we will do our best and thank you for your faithfulness.
