The flower charts for 2019 are posted on the kiosk in the Narthex

Please consider providing 1 or 2 bouquets for a Sunday morning.  Add your name and possibly a short note about why you are providing flowers, place a check made out to Holy Love Lutheran Church for $35 per bouquet and "flowers for (date)" on the memo line, in the offering plate or on the desk in the office. Bring the bouquet(s) home after church that Sunday or deliver to a shut-in, etc.

Outreach Now
Holy Hammers Service Opportunity
In an effort to raise money for the Holy Hammers who support the building of homes by Habitat for Humanity, we will be volunteering at the Colorado Rockies game on June 30 th , 2019. The game starts at 1:10 pm and is against the LA Dodgers. We’ll be passing out Trevor Story bobble heads!!! Minimum age for volunteering is 16. Arrival time for volunteers is 10:15 to allow everyone to get supplied and to their entrances. We pass out the bobble heads until they are gone (and boy, do they go), then stay and watch the game. If you’re  interested, please contact Melissa Waples at 303-519-1339 or mjwaples@comcast.net .     You must sign up by June 15 th .

Jogging For Jon's Noggin
Michelle Zimmer is leading team “Joggin’ for John’s Noggin’” in the 2019 Denver Brain Tumor Walk on June 1st, 2019. Brain tumors affects more than 700,000 Americans annually. All funds raised through the events allow the National Brain Tumor Society to advance research and public policy to improve the availability of new and better treatments, and fuel the discovery of a cure for brain tumors.

Support Team Schmuck
The Team Schmuck relay team is running to Peoria for the kids of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, who are battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases. The event is August 2nd and 3rd.
Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90%, and they won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
Will you join our team and help us make a difference in lives of St. Jude kids?

Food Bank
We alternate delivering accumulated donations once a month to food distribution points at either Aurora Interfaith or Peace with Christ Lutheran Church. Therefore, the pantry can be full one day and empty the next. Let’s keep it filled so those in need can have a meal. When shopping or donating, please consider protein rich foods such as canned tuna, salmon, chicken and beef, peanut or almond butter and nuts. Other excellent items to donate include canned fruits and vegetables, beans, cereal, oatmeal, pasta and sauces. Thanks!
