An Update from us on Frost
Don't worry if your lawn develops some brown spots!
  • Now that we have experienced our first frost you might notice that some spots in your lawn are turning brown. Do not worry! This is normal.
  • If your lawn has some crabgrass and bermuda in it you will find that these areas are browning out due to the colder weather.

We can help get rid of these problem grasses during this cold time!
  • You may have heard us tell you in the warmer months that the only solution to get rid of these grasses is to kill it out and resod the area.
  • However, during this time of year we get assisted by the frost so we can help your grass begin to take over instead of the crabgrass and bermuda taking over.
  • This also allows for grass to fill in and gain ground on the spots of bermuda and crabgrass instead of needing the spots to be resodded.
