ImageOut Welcomes a New Board Member!

The ImageOut Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Matt DeTurck was recently selected to join the organization's leadership body.

Matt is an award-winning designer and filmmaker, as well as the Events & Special Programming Coordinator at The Little Theatre and Producer & Creative Director at Anomaly – The Rochester Genre Film Festival. As a former Creative Director for both the Rochester Fringe Festival and Hedonist Artisan Chocolates, he strives to combine his deep love for art & experience with creative visual storytelling. Previous clients also include CITY Newspaper (art direction), Splyce esports (design and motion for international content), and the Wall Street Journal (photography). A previous ImageOut “Volunteer of the Year” award recipient, and a current member of WXXI’s DEI committee for Content, Matt can usually be found listening to a movie soundtrack and counting down the days ‘til Halloween.

Welcome, Matt! We look forward to continuing to work with you, now in your new role.

Our Apologies: Tax Receipt Letter and Merchandise Order Delays

We sincerely apologize for the unexpected delay in the mailing of our tax receipt letters for 2022 donations and any inconvenience this may have caused. The remaining letters will be sent this week.

We also apologize for the delay in fulfillment of some merchandise orders. We will be reaching out very soon to anyone who completed and has not yet received a merchandise order from late last year. Stay tuned for more news on 2023 ImageOut merchandise soon too!

Thank you for your patience and understanding in these matters!

New Website Launching Soon!

We’re thrilled to officially announce that our new and improved ImageOut.org website will launch on March 15 - and we cannot wait to show you what we've been working on! Check out a sneak peek snapshot photo below!

The new site will not only be more modern and aesthetically pleasing, but also more accessible, user friendly, and secure. It will better highlight all of ImageOut's programs, while honoring our history and legacy. The site will also better explain the many ways community members can give to ImageOut to support LGBTQ+ arts and culture in our greater Rochester community.

The new site will be more responsive, allowing us to make more frequent updates in real-time. We expect additional edits and updates will continue for several months after our soft launch.
