HTSI Vacancies

The post-holder will be part of a small team working nationally with the network of Third Sector Interfaces (TSIs) to improve equalities and human rights practice within the third sector. They’ll play a key role in delivering training, guidance and resources for TSIs and other third sector organisations. The programme is funded by Scottish Government through the Equality and Human Rights Fund. To ensure national coverage different posts will be employed by Glasgow Council for the Voluntary Sector (GCVS), Edinburgh Voluntary Organisations Council (EVOC) and Highland Third Sector Interface (HTSI).

Salary: £28,500

The post holder will be a senior development officer leading a series of new activities and areas of development for HTSI around their strategic ambitions. They will work closely and directly with the Chief Officer and the Senior Development Officer for the Digital and Membership Team to deliver the wider range of regionally based and driven responsibilities of the organisations and its TSI functions. As part of their individual role they will work with a range of partners and stakeholders and must be confident in building relationships and networks across sectors. They will lead on activities specifically related, but not restricted to, employability, training, political engagement and mentoring. Together with the HTSI CO, they will consider how the overall performance of the organisation is managed and ensure delivery of the annual operating plan.

Salary: £25,614, progressing to £28,895

The post will be responsible for supporting the establishment of the newly developed Highland Third Sector Resilience Network, including embedding the current process and developing stage two of the projects to encourage more collaboration across groups within communities. They will also have responsibility for formalising and maintaining a wide variety of partnerships to create referral processes necessary for joint planning at community or organisational level.

Salary: £25,614.31 pro rata

LAC is seeking 2 professional artists, to each work with a community, within the Caithness area for 10 weeks from January – March 2022. The community could be a geographical community but also includes social communities or groups, or a specified demographic. During this period, the artist will work with LAC and their group to design a programme of work that will be participatory, socially engaged and collaboratively explore local themes and issues.
The residencies will be available to artists who are based in Caithness, or have a strong connection to the area or the communities they will be working with.

In a time when the world needs what the Findhorn Foundation has to offer more than ever, we are seeking someone whose purpose aligns with ours to support us in establishing and embedding online programmes. This role is crucial to sharing transformative education across the globe. We are seeking someone who can lead on the technical delivery of our online programmes.
You will understand cameras and lighting and enjoy filming interviews, presentations, short talks and events. You will manage the Findhorn Course platform, uploading materials and supporting course facilitators to do the same, leading on technical design and delivery of programmes.

Freelance Artist Facilitator


Wasps wishes to appoint 4 Artist Facilitators to deliver a monthly programme of open access, visual-arts drop-in sessions in Inverness. Titled ‘Inverness Openarts’, the sessions will run as part of an exciting new community outreach project designed to support wellbeing, promote social inclusion, and increase accessibility to artmaking for disadvantaged groups in the Inverness area.

Board Member

Addictions Counselling Inverness provides one to one counselling for adults struggling with changing unwanted behaviours or significant others concerned about someone else’s drug, alcohol or gambling use. We were established in 1986 as Inverness Council on Alcohol, one of six councils across the Highlands at the time. In 2003 we became known as Alcohol Focus Scotland then in 2011 we became Addictions Counselling Inverness. To strengthen our Board membership, we are seeking an additional Board member with living experience, skills and expertise in overcoming substance misuse and maintaining a path of recovery.
