Information Management Volunteer


Ensuring that we keep accurate information on services, events and projects throughout the Third Sector (charities, community groups, social enterprises etc.) helps ensure that we can support the signposting and referral processes across various services in Highland.


The role will form a key part of supporting the maintenance of information by regularly contacting groups and checking information is accurate, compiling that and supporting the distribution of accurate information to organisations for use when supporting people.

Development Officer

The postholder will work with the trustees of Artsplay Highland to develop and implement an income generation strategy and detailed action plan to help achieve the company’s vision and objectives over the next five years.


You will also identify potential sources of income for our existing activities from a wide range of sources, scope ideas for projects and activities, build links with the Highland business community, identify new markets for Artsplay Highland music activities, and explore opportunities for us to provide new digital resources and CPD services for families and early years practitioners/teachers.

The aim of the PDS National Service is to enable people to live well with dementia and is centred around Alzheimer Scotland's 5 pillar model so that people move on to a period of supported self- management.


The model includes understanding the illness and coming to terms with the diagnosis, peer support, connecting and maintaining links with their community along with planning for future care and decision making to develop an outcome focused plan to support their future hopes, desires and aspirations.

We are looking for a Mental Health Carer Link Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will promote the Carers (Scotland) Act 2016 and Carers’ rights including the benefits of an Adult Carer Support Plan (ACSP) in supporting Carers to maintain their own well-being and day to day life. You will use the National Framework of Eligibility to determine whether the local authority is required to provide support to Carers to meet Carers identified needs.

The purpose of this role is to provide holistic advice on a range of welfare benefits issues. To offer clients advice and information to maximise their income and to ensure they are receiving the correct entitlements. The role will require someone who has experience or understanding of the benefits system, ideally in provision of advice, information and representation however someone who can evidence similar transferrable skills in another setting may be considered also. This role will suit a resilient and empathetic person who is able to work under pressure but enjoys the challenges of advice delivery and is able to work in a non-judgmental and impartial, confidential manner.


Salary: £24,884 to £27,187 per annum (pro-rata)
