Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ -

In the last several weeks, the liturgical ministries have hosted potlucks for the sake of connecting to another. Each potluck was well attended and warm way to extend our communion at the altar of the Eucharist to communion of table fellowship with delicious home made dishes.

Feedback from listening sessions of the synod process (from last spring) identified a desire to gather socially. The receding of the pandemic made gathering possible. Pope Francis described his hope for the synod: “I think this is truly the most wonderful experience we can have: to belong to a people walking, journeying through history together with their Lord who walks among us! We are not alone; we do not walk alone. We are part of the one flock of Christ that walks together.” (4 October 2013) The potlucks were wonderful experiences of walking together. Another identified was for faith formation. Our Lenten small group process, “Enlarge the space of your tent” (Is 54:2) have been meeting.

This weekend and in the coming weeks, we will have the opportunity to gather for faith formation and fellowship including concerts, Take a list at the announcements in this weekly bulletin and make sure to come and engage with the community.

Peace and blessings, Father Gil

I am asking you to pledge $6,000 over 5 years. That's $1,200 per year or $100 per month.

We've already improved lighting outside the Church, making it possible to gather after evening masses and events. We expect to announce very soon our landscaping plan including the planting of a new tree to replace our beloved Italian pine tree.

Many thanks to a number of families who have already committed to renewing our community!
