The Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed

During the month of November, it is a long and venerable Catholic tradition to remember and pray for our beloved dead at Mass and in other prayers and rituals. You may write the names of the deceased members of your family and friends in the “Book of the Dead” that will be placed in each church or by emailing the names to info@oratorychurch.org. If you send in names for the All Souls Novena of Masses, these will be automatically placed in these books. You are also invited to bring a photo of a loved one to place on St. Joseph’s altar at Assumption or the bulletin board in the narthex at St. Boniface.

Mass Intentions

It has been a long tradition in the Church to offer Masses for people to pray, especially for the dead, seeking God’s grace, mercy, and spiritual benefits through Christ’s sacrifice. Usually a modest donation is given for this. In the coming weeks we have several Masses with no particular intentions. If you would like to have a Mass offered for someone (living or deceased), email the parish office at info@oratorychurch.org or click here.
