Please Use Caution When Reading Your Emails
Once again, we have received notification of a potential email scam, purporting to be from one of the priests, asking the recipient to buy gift cards and to respond upon receipt of the email.
NO PRIEST OF THE ORATORY WILL EVER ASK YOU FOR MONEY FOR HIS personal use or reach out to you in an emergency. All priests have emergency contacts if they were to need assistance.
DELETE the email and DO NOT RESPOND IN ANY WAY, it is not from us and it is a scam. We also received word that a few parishioners have been hacked, so please use caution!!

Accompanying Migrants
The Social Justice Action Committee, partnering with Catholic Charities, is planning ways to accompany newly arrived migrants by helping to fill out asylum applications and work authorizations. We have been invited by Team TLC NYC to do an on-line training on Jan. 30, 2025, 7pm called Overview of the Asylum Process 101 and filing the I-589 application.
In Feb. 2025, we hope to start meeting with individuals or families to walk with them through this important step. If you are interested in helping with this program, please contact Jan Horn, jrbhorn66@yahoo.com.
