September was a good month, but it flew by way too fast. Every day seems to go faster and faster! It's hard to believe it's been thirty two months since we put the first wrench to it. Dad, Rod and I managed to break away for a nice day at the Maple Grove NHRA Nationals, and to see our pro flat track friends race at Williams Grove. The big highlight, for me, was when Rod taught me how to TIG weld. The results were not too shabby for a rookie! ~Jill

"I have the new trailer rear door frame ready for it's final coat of paint, before the new skin is riveted to it. We decided to go with brushed stainless steel on the outside, and perforated sheet under non slip rubber coin, for on the loading surface. It's going to hold up well to years of wear and tear and look good." ~Rod

Jill has the rear of the trailer stripped, sanded and prepped for paint. Rod & Jill usually work on separate projects, but the Mustang body cart was a joint project to help speed things along. All of the Mustang's interior panels were removed, the inside of the body was detailed and it's on the cart and ready for body work.

All of the 'build' lists are getting smaller. The clutches are being set up at Boninfante Friction, and the new Lenco transmissions are in the works!
