On Monday, Twin Vee released a new video featuring Ryan Bradley, who fell in love with his Twin Vee 240 GFX years ago. Now, as a boat dealership owner, he’s even more impressed after running the new 400 GFX2. In this video, Ryan gets on the water and highlights the boat's impressive features, calling the ride quality “second to none” and saying the handling stands out from anything else on the market.

This week, our Owner Spotlight is on Buddy Sanders from Houston, Texas. The owner of a Twin Vee 400 GFX2, Buddy loves boating, fishing, diving, and being out on the water. Buddy’s passion for the water takes him to incredible fishing spots in the Caribbean, including Cancun, Cozumel, and Costa Rica.
After starting with a 30-foot power catamaran, Buddy began looking for something bigger that could handle 1–2 foot chop at speed. This led him to discover Twin Vee boats at Surfside Marina in Texas. After inquiring about the brand with Florida Keys dealer Seven Sports Marine, he flew to the Twin Vee factory in Ft. Pierce, Florida, to learn more about the GFX2 model line. During his visit, Preston Yarborough, Twin Vee’s Vice President, gave him a presentation on the build process and took him on a tour of the plant. Buddy noted that the quality of the dash was incredible, and he was able to see every detail of the GFX2’s construction.
| Soon after, Buddy purchased his new 400 GFX2 rigged with four Yamaha 350 outboards, which he feels gives him the perfect balance he needs. According to Buddy, the boat is so quiet that he can run at high speeds with six people comfortably seated, and it can perform just the way he wants. The 400 GFX2 also had everything he was looking for in a new, larger boat, including a walkthrough center transom and a dive ladder, which other brands did not offer. He also appreciated the boat’s fit and finish, as well as design choices like the placement of the boat’s batteries under the seat. | | |
Buddy’s adventurous spirit is evident in the pictures he shared as well as in his plans to visit the Tortugas and Bimini next May for more fishing and exploration. “Live your best life today, don’t wait until tomorrow. Don’t wait to make a memory,” Buddy shared. He loves that his 400 GFX2 allows him to travel dozens of miles offshore to go fishing in comfort and luxury, visiting productive fishing spots that most people don’t go to.
Thank you for sharing your Twin Vee story with us, Buddy. We can’t wait to hear all about your next adventure.
