If you're planning an Easter family meal, please keep fats, oils and grease (FOG) out of your drain. FOG can harden in pipes causing clogs and overflows, so move Fats, Oils & Grease "from the pan to the can."
Instead of pouring grease down the sink, pour cooled cooking grease into a metal container, let it finish cooling, then place it in the trash. Before you wash pots and pans, wipe away FOG, then throw away FOG-laden paper towels.
Dish soaps and hot water are only temporary solutions. FOG will congeal again when the water cools, clogging pipes and possibly creating sewer blockage and backup.
Help keep our sewer system clear. #StoptheClog
