NB3FIT Cross Country season off and running


Cross country season is underway with over 100 youth runners representing tribal communities across New Mexico, already competing in meets at John B. Roberts Dam and SIPI. Teams now look ahead to Bullhead Park and the upcoming Traditions Run at San Felipe Pueblo, a free USATF-sanctioned meet open to all youth runners.

Empowering coaches, strengthening communities


Nearly 50 coaches from across Minnesota came together for the IndigeFit Kids Coaching Academy, a two-day training focused on empowering those who work with Native youth through sport and wellness. Hosted by the NB3 Foundation’s NB3FIT team, the academy inspired coaches to build community, strengthen their programs and lead with culture, connection and heart.

NB3FIT serves up tennis for local youth


This fall, NB3FIT expanded its lineup with tennis. Led by program coordinator Mia Freeland at Bernalillo High School, the free program welcomed nine youth to learn the game while building skills, confidence, and healthy habits on and off the court.

Miles for Native Youth: Team #NB3F takes on Tour de Acoma


NB3 Foundation team members hit the road at Acoma Pueblo for the annual Tour de Acoma, cycling 25 and 50 miles through breathtaking “Sky City” landscapes. The ride was part of the Miles for Native Youth campaign, raising funds and modeling active, healthy living for Native youth and communities.

Dribble into winter with the NB3FIT Youth Basketball League a co-ed, developmental season running November–February in the Sandoval County area for ages 6–11 (7U, 9U, 11U). Registration is $75 with family and team discounts; spots are limited, register by October 31.

Make a difference on and off the court by volunteering as a youth basketball coach or referee with NB3FIT this season. No experience is needed, and all training, equipment and support are provided; register by October 31 to help inspire and lead Native youth through sport.
