Reminder! Quarter 3 Member Expense Report and Fund Expiration on June 30, 2021
|
|
By now, each member should have submitted their Quarter 3 Member Expense report in NOVA. The Quarter 3 Member Expense Report is to be certified in NOVA by June 30, 2021. Some things to consider as you are submitting and reviewing your expenditure reports prior to certifying:
- Verify expenditures entered are year-to-date (cumulative).
- If cumulative expenditures are in fact less than the previous quarter, revise Q1 and/or Q2.
- Consider completing a budget revision if over budget in any object code.
- Include specific, clear, and concise activities in the “Summary of Activities” section.
- If expenditures, by any object code, fall below target and you are prompted to complete a corrective action plan, include clear, concise, and actionable steps to meet the spending targets next quarter.
- The target spend down date for 2019-20 funds is June 30, 2021. With a corrective action plan, funds can be spent through December 31, 2021. However, the corrective action plan must include clear, concise, and actionable steps to spend down by December 31, 2021.
If you need assistance completing the expense report, contact CAEP TAP at tap@caladulted.org or (888) 827-2324. We are ready to help!

CAEP Instructional Hours and Expenditures Report and Webinar

The CAEP 2019-20 Hours and Expenditures report provides the results of an analysis for the third iteration of reports to the California Adult Education Program (CAEP) Office on the expenditures and hours of instruction for CAEP members. These reports are required by statute. The report includes data on PY 2019-2020 hours and expenditures by program area and includes comparisons with prior years’ reports.
Download the report and register for the webinar. On August 13, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. Tim Harmon of Workforce Enterprise Services, Inc. will review the results, and provide an opportunity for members and consortia to ask questions about the results and provide recommendations for changes to the reporting requirements.
