Happy Giving Tuesday, Steve!

We’re thrilled to share an exciting update on our friend Jesse*—someone whose life has been transformed by the generosity of Keys to Change supporters.

Jesse’s journey wasn’t an easy one. He spent years facing homelessness and incarceration, but through it all, he kept moving forward. At Keys to Change, Jesse found strength in the community that supported him, receiving shelter, job training, and the assistance he needed to rebuild his life.

Help Us End Homelessness

Today, we’re happy to report that Jesse is not just surviving—he’s thriving. He’s now working two jobs in fine dining and banquets, and his culinary skills are being put to use at two local resorts. One of his favorite dishes to prepare? Beef Wellington—proof that Jesse is not afraid of a challenge!

And that’s not all. Jesse is also planning to start recording music—a dream he’s held for years. While incarcerated, he wrote hundreds of songs, and now, as he settles into his new home, he’s ready to put those lyrics to music.
