City Center Visioning Draft Plan Survey
New survey deadline: Saturday, Aug. 21 (Spanish executive summary and survey now posted also)
Following a community outreach process that started in 2020, the city has prepared a draft vision and plan for the City Center area. Through this process, the community and stakeholders shared a desire for the area to grow into Aurora's "downtown," with a dynamic, connected urban center offering a variety of shopping, dining and entertainment options, great paying jobs, desirable housing choices and convenient transportation options. Take the survey and share your feedback on the plan.
Global Fest

Join us virtually for the city's annual celebration of international cultures and traditions. Performances, a Parade of Nations, an International Fashion Show, food demonstrations and more will take place as a virtual event on the city's Facebook page and AuroraTV.
COVID-19 Vaccine Mobile Clinic
Saturday, Aug. 21, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
No pre-registration or appointment required. This clinic will provide the Pfizer vaccine, with second shots scheduled for Sept. 18.

Youth Engagement Pop-up Events

Music, games, food and resources are all part of multiple pop-up events for youth this summer and fall throughout the city as part of Aurora's Youth Violence Prevention Program. COVID-19 Testing Site

Open Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., free testing for COVID-19 is provided to anyone who wants to be tested, especially those who have symptoms. No appointment is necessary. No doctor referral, no health insurance, and no proof of identification are required. Online registration in advance is preferred but is not required.

Join the Aurora History Museum & Historic Sites for an in-person exploration of Aurora's economic prosperity and suburban expansion during the Cold War.
