In The Room Where It Happened

Region 8 Rocked Anaheim!

This year's Business Development and Region 8 Conference was jam packed with leadership training sessions, business development opportunities, all-star speakers, amazing exhibitors, and networking galore.

CAHIP was proud to host more than 100 attendees from Alaska, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and our very own Golden State for 36 hours of learning and engaging with colleagues from all over the region.

Keynote speakers Joe Buzzello and Tom Healy gave attendees the tools to create coaching cultures within their organizations. Tim Kanter, Ben Winfield, and Tommy Gaffney taught forward thinking breakout sessions Amping Up Your Agency in a Noisy World, You Marketing: How to Market Yourself, and Tech Talk to Enhance Your Business.

NABIP President Eric Kohlsdorf spoke about "pioneering the possible" and leading the way in the health insurance industry.

David Smith held a CE course on Level Funded Health Plans: What to Explain & Warn Employers.

We had a lively discussion about the importance of creating happy workplaces. Jack Holder moderated a robust panel discussion featuring Tracey Best, Albert Fogle, and Tim Kanter about how to cultivate a positive and energetic working environment.

Region leaders held training sessions for newly elected board members to advise them on how to best succeed in their new roles.

The exhibit hall was buzzing with new solutions and ideas to help improve business. Thank you again to our event sponsors Prosperity Group Benefits, Ameriflex, Beam Benefits, Lifesecure, Plansource, Assurity, Clarity Benefits Solutions, Kansas City Life Group Benefits, ProAct & United Pet Care and our annual sponsors in attendance Covered California and Anuvi.
