Congratulations to our Class of 2028 PCOM Anchors. You’ve reached one of the most transformative years of your medical education, where everything you’ve studied begins to meet real patients and medicine truly comes alive.

This year will challenge you. You will step into unfamiliar environments and have moments where you feel unsure. That is normal. Every physician has stood where you are. What matters is showing up with curiosity, humility, and a willingness to learn from every patient and experience.

You are entering a profession and an osteopathic tradition grounded in treating the whole person, not just the disease. Carry that with you. Ask questions. Advocate for your patients. Remember why you started.

You have earned your place. Trust your preparation, lean on your mentors, and step into this year with confidence.

Welcome to the clinical side of medicine.
