March is National Craft Month. Crafting can be a great way for kids to explore their creativity and work on fine motor skills. It can also be a stress-relieving and calming activity. Make sure you allow your children to create and do it their way so they can feel a sense of achievement and take pride in their work. Even if they do it “wrong”, it can often lead to a whole new idea. This is a great bonding activity and a good time to practice communication skills as they tell you about what they are making and you encourage them in their work.
