TOMORROW- APEX FINALISTS TO BE ANNOUNCED!
The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business Committee will announce the finalists for the APEX Awards tomorrow, Wednesday, June 2 from 4:00-6:00PM. The event's host and sponsor is the Crowne Plaza Fort Myers at Bell Tower.

The APEX Awards recognizes women with outstanding reputations for professionalism, philanthropy and leadership in Southwest Florida. The 2021 APEX Awards nominees are:

The finalists and all nominees will go on to be recognized during a luncheon celebration on Aug. 27 at The Westin Resort at Marina Village in Cape Coral, where one will be named the recipient of the APEX Award. The APEX Awards are sponsored by Sanibel Captiva Community Bank. Tickets to the APEX Awards on Aug. 27 are $75 and tables start at $800. Sponsorships are available. Join Leadership NEXT on Tuesday, June 8, 5:00-7:00pm at the Chamber's office downtown when we'll here from Jason Jakus, a member of the Royal Palm Coast Realtor Association, talking about the state of the current real estate market, and Noelle Branning and John Bodner with the Lee County Tax Collector Office sharing about the tax certificate sale.

CHAMBER LUNCHEON: BOARD INSTALLATION & CHAMBER UPDATE
Join us when we install the Chamber's 2021-2022 Board of Directors and officers on Friday, June 11 during our monthly luncheon at the Crowne Plaza at Bell Tower in Fort Myers.

During the event, Chamber President and CEO Colleen DePasquale will share an update on Chamber activities and initiatives for the year ahead. Following the presentation, board members and officers will be appointed for both the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce Foundation, which supports the Chamber’s efforts to enhance education and professional development at a variety of levels in Southwest Florida.

The Chamber will also recognize outgoing board chair Jim Larkin as well as board members and volunteer committee chairpersons for their year of service.

The June luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza at Bell Tower, 13051 Bell Tower Drive in Fort Myers. Admission is $25 for Chamber members and $35 for future Chamber members. Advance registration is encouraged. Register online or call 239-332-2930.
