During this interactive workshop, participants will learn about building an advisory committee, conducting a needs assessment, determining mission, creating a logic model and budget, developing policies/procedures, developing a marketing plan, building a staffing model, and more.
Advanced Professional Development Opportunity: Apply by June 4 to Attend the 2021 Summer Institute on Youth Mentoring
The 2021 Summer Institute on Youth Mentoring (happening virtually July 19-23, 2021) will focus on the theme of mentoring and mental health—exploring how mentoring supports the mental health of young people. Online sessions will feature leading scholars and discussions of implications for program policies and practices. Ideal participants have several years of experience in the field of youth development. Participants are expected to attend the entire seminar.
