National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month | July 2022

Dear Friend of Roadmap,

National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month is observed in July to bring awareness to the unique emotional health struggles that racial and ethnic minority communities face in the United States, and during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The Roadmap Project joins The Office of Minority Health (OMH) at the U.S Department of Health and Human Services this month to promote tools and resources that raise awareness and help address emotional health among minority populations.

Roadmap also provides a variety of tools & resources on its website to help us all continue making a positive impact on the emotional health of patients and families with chronic conditions.

This video, "The Impact of Being Black on Living with a Chronic Condition," highlights a discussion hosted by Roadmap among a panel of three Black parents and a young Black adult.
