As the holiday season approaches, many of us are surrounded by support and abundance. However, some families are not, and survive paycheck to paycheck. There are many families right here in Winona who struggle to put food on the table, and the opportunity for fitness and wellness for their family is something they do not have the resources to address.

You can help change that! The Dream Maker program provides a year-long, free YMCA membership to disadvantaged children in and around the Winona community. It is the gift that keeps on giving all year round! This holiday season, we invite you to make a tax-deductible gift to foster health, wellness, and positive change. Make a child’s year bright!

$17 covers a one-month youth scholarship

$102 covers a half-year youth scholarship

$204 covers a year-long youth scholarship

Youth Swim Test Policy

Keeping You Safe

Your safety is our top priority. In compliance with insurance expectations, beginning January 1 we will require the following:

7 years and younger - adult in the pool within arm's reach, no wrist band required.

8-10 years - adult on pool deck, yellow wrist band if you pass the swim test.

11 years and older - no adult required, green wrist band if you pass the swim test.

We are hosting drop in swim testing during the below times. You will receive your reusable wrist band at that time.

• Wednesday 12/13 10-11:30am
• Friday 12/15 10am-3:30pm
• Wednesday 12/27 10a-3pm
• Friday 12/29 12-3pm

To schedule a swim test at a different time and obtain your reusable wrist band please complete the Swim Test Request form.

Wrist bands that are lost or misplaced can be replaced at the front desk for $5.
