Jan. 23 - H.R. 664: American Seabed Protection Act

Introduced by Rep. Ed Case [D-HI1], this bill would prohibit certain mining activities on the deep seabed and Outer Continental Shelf, and for other purposes.


Jan. 23 - H.R. 676: Untitled

Introduced by Rep. Harriet Hageman [R-WY], this bill would exempt the Federal actions related to energy and mineral activities on certain Federal lands from the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969.


Jan. 23 - H.R. 678: Expression of Interest Sensibility Act

Introduced by Rep. Harriet Hageman [R-WY], this bill would amend the Mineral Leasing Act to improve the assessment of expression of interest fees, and for other purposes.


Jan. 22 - H.R. 604: REDUCE Act

Introduced by Rep. Sean Casten [D-IL6], this bill would require Transmission Organizations to allow bids from aggregators of certain retail customers, and for other purposes.


Jan. 22 - H.R. 603: Reinforcing the Grid Against Extreme Weather Act of 2025

Introduced by Rep. Sean Casten [D-IL6], this bill would direct the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to improve interregional electricity transfer capability between immediately adjacent transmission planning regions, and for other purposes.

Jan 16 - H.R. 513: Offshore Lands Authorities Act of 2025

Introduced by Rep. Clay Higgins [R-LA3], this bill would nullify certain Presidential withdrawals of unleased offshore land, amend the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act to establish limits on the authority of the President to withdraw unleased offshore land, and for other purposes.

Introduced by Rep. Andrew Ogles [R-TN5], this bill would amend the Mineral Leasing Act to make certain adjustments to the royalty rates for leases for oil and gas extraction on Federal land, and for other purposes.

Introduced by Sen. Ted Cruz [R-TX], this bill would rescind Presidential memoranda on the withdrawal of certain areas of the outer Continental Shelf from oil or natural gas leasing.

Introduced by Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto [D-NV], this bill would require the Secretary of Energy to obtain the consent of affected State and local governments before making an expenditure from the Nuclear Waste Fund for a nuclear waste repository, and for other purposes.


Jan. 15 - H.R. 466: Nuclear Waste Informed Consent Act

Introduced by Rep. Dina Titus [D-NV1], this bill would require the Secretary of Energy to obtain the consent of affected State and local governments before making an expenditure from the Nuclear Waste Fund for a nuclear waste repository, and for other purposes.


Jan. 14 - H.R. 398: Geothermal Cost-Recovery Authority Act

Introduced by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez [D-NY14], this bill would amend the Geothermal Steam Act of 1970 to provide more cost-recovery authority for the Department of the Interior.

Introduced by Rep. Jay Obernolte [R-CA23], this bill would amend the Energy Policy Act of 2005 to require reporting relating to certain cost-share requirements, and for other purposes.


Jan. 9 - H.R. 256: SAVE Act

Introduced by Rep. Stephanie Bice [R-OK5], this bill would prohibit the sale of petroleum products from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to certain entities, and for other purposes.


Jan. 9 - H.R. 301: GEO Act

Introduced by Rep. Celeste Maloy [R-UT2], this bill would amend the Geothermal Steam Act of 1970 to establish a deadline for processing applications related to geothermal leasing.


Jan. 3 - H.R. 75: HOUSE Act of 2025

Introduced by Rep. Andy Biggs [R-AZ5], this bill would require the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development and the Secretary of Agriculture to withdraw a final determination relating to energy efficiency standards for housing, and for other purposes.


Jan. 3 - H.R. 92: Strategic Production Response and Implementation Act

Introduced by Rep. Andy Biggs [R-AZ5], this bill would provide for the development of a plan to increase oil and gas production under oil and gas leases of Federal lands under the jurisdiction of the Secretary of Agriculture, the Secretary of the Interior, and the Secretary of Defense in conjunction with a drawdown of petroleum reserves from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.


Jan. 3 - H.R. 133: Protecting American Energy Production Act

Introduced by Rep. Lauren Boebert [R-CO4], this bill would prohibit a moratorium on the use of hydraulic fracturing.
