October 25 - H.R. 9234: Critical Electric Infrastructure Cybersecurity Incident Reporting Act

Introduced by Rep. Cathy Anne McMorris Rodgers [R-WA5], this bill would direct the Secretary of Energy to promulgate regulations to facilitate the timely submission of notifications regarding cybersecurity incidents and potential cybersecurity incidents with respect to critical electric infrastructure, and for other purposes.


October 21 - H.Res. 1445: Recognizing that the irresponsible withdrawal of petroleum products from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve is a threat to the security of the United States

Introduced by Rep. Randy Weber [R-TX14], this bill would recognize that the impossible withdrawal of petroleum products from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve is a threat to the security of the United States.


October 21 - H.R. 9215: NRC Office of Public Engagement and Participation Act of 2022

Introduced by Rep. Mike Levin [D-CA49], this bill would establish an Office of Public Engagement and Participation within the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and for other purposes.


October 18 - H.R. 9193: To amend the Geothermal Steam Act of 1970 to increase the frequency of lease sales, to require replacement sales, and for other purposes.

Introduced by Rep. Russ Fulcher [R-ID1], this bill would amend the Geothermal Steam Act of 1970 to increase the frequency of lease sales, to require replacement sales, and for other purposes.


October 14 - H.R. 9182: EV Freedom Act

Introduced by Rep. Andy Levin [D-MI9], this bill would establish a national network of electric vehicle charging stations, and for other purposes.


October 11 - S. 5071: Replenishing Our American Reserves Act

Introduced by Sen. Dan Sullivan [R-AK], this bill would amend the Energy Policy and Conservation Act to require that the Strategic Petroleum Reserve only includes petroleum products produced in the United States, and for other purposes.

Jordan Crowe

Jordan holds an M.P.P.A. from the University of Tennessee and an M.A. in International Relations from Anglia Ruskin University. Prior to joining OEP, Jordan was the Trade Policy Coordinator at the U.S. Grains Council. He also has experience working in the Tennessee General Assembly and in the U.K. as a Sustainable Transport Researcher at Essex County Council. Jordan is a big sports fan, supporting Chelsea Football Club, the Tennessee Titans and, of course, the Vols.
