Award-winning journalist Norma Libman describes a history of the Jews in Inquisitional Spain, how Crypto-Jews kept their secrets, and the forces that brought them to the American Southwest. This program is cosponsored by the Historical Society of New Mexico.

Thursday, October 21, 5–8:30 p.m.
Albuquerque Museum stays open late for an evening with a party vibe. Doors open at 5 p.m. From 6 to 8 p.m., listen to live music by ChillHouse with Hillary Smith outdoors in the Amphitheater. At 6:30 p.m., join us in the Sculpture Garden for YogaZo. Galleries open until 8:30 p.m. Slate at the Museum will be serving up cocktails and grab-and-go snack plates. Admission is free.

Saturdays, 12:30 p.m.
Make art with the whole family outdoors in the Amphitheater. Try your hand working with a variety of art mediums — all materials supplied.

The workshop is free with your paid general admission.

Preschool Class: Portraits Play
Wednesdays, beginning October 13, 1–2:30 p.m.
Register for this 4-week class for children 4 and 5 year old and their caregiver. Practice hand and eye coordination skills through printing, drawing, and painting.

Space is limited. Registration is required. $80

Youth Studio: Fantastical Beasts
Wednesdays, beginning October 27
Register today for this 6-week class for students ages 6 to 10 years old. Delve into stories of myth and folklore while exploring medieval bestiaries.
