Daily Factoid: UWFK is a local, independent nonprofit! That means we operate only in Monroe County and have our own, individual 501c3 license. We are not a faction of a larger United Way, which makes it easier for us to focus on the needs of our Keys community!
Board Spotlight:
Mike Forster
UWFK is very excited to welcome Mike Forster to the board! He has been a part of this organization for several years now, volunteering on site visits in both the upper and lower Keys and catering our Valentine's Day jazz brunch. Mike says participating in the site visits has opened his eyes to the many needs of this wonderful community. He is ready to help wherever he can, and we are incredibly thankful to have him! Welcome, Mike!

The school focuses on providing excellent academic preparation, helping children develop a love for learning and creating a strong work ethic, critical thinking skills and the ability to interact well with others.
