New Businesses Open in DeKalb
|
Long's Drug Pharmacy opened up its Decatur location on 1528 Scott Boulevard to support the DeKalb community. Long's Drug is a full service retail pharmacy that offers local delivery, medication synchronization, refill reminders and immunizations. More info on Long's Drug

Pirate Staffing opened its Decatur location on 5406 Clarkston Highway to help the DeKalb community get back to work. Pirate Staffing provides work for laborers, food service, construction, warehouse, manufacturing, skilled trades and more.
 DeKalb County elected officials along with the community celebrated the Grand Opening of the
McDonald's on 2739 Wesley Chapel Road. Formerly the site of Hardee's, this McDonald's will continue the tradition of making biscuits in house and from scratch.

Dr. Ford gave a presentation on the Status of Health in DeKalb County. In it, she illustrated that
