Community Library Health Bus
Thursday, 1/20 @ 10:00 AM-2:00 PM
The Catholic Health Services Community Outreach Bus will be in the library’s parking lot. The bus will provide free blood pressure, cholesterol, body mass index, and glucose screenings; along with patient preventative health education and referrals as needed. These free health screenings will be administered by a Catholic Health register nurse. No appointments necessary. Insurance is not required and there are no fees. Open to all 18 years and older.

USCIS Citizenship Workshop

Join a virtual presentation by the Long Island Field Office of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). This workshop is for prospective citizens to learn about the naturalization process including the interview and citizenship exam. Register here. Open to all.

The Literacy Department offers English as a New Language (ENL) and citizenship classes to adult English Language Learners in our community. A new session of morning and evening classes begins this week with virtual and in-person options.
