This timeless captivating story is brought to life in this glorious musical filled with personal discovery, heartache, hope, and everlasting love.

The Young Women in Art Juried Exhibition provides a venue to recognize exemplary art works of young women in high school, to help students begin to prepare for a major in art, and to introduce them to the Converse College Department of Art and Design and the variety of majors offered to women.  The artwork shown is by Sanye Yip,  Our Late Supper , SC Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities. It received the Best in Show Award for YWIA 2016.

Celebrate Women's History month at the Pints & Poets March reading featuring Hub City Writers Project Writer in Residence, Kelsey Ronan and local poets, Sarah Cooper and Elizabeth Cox.  Every third Wednesday of selected spring and fall months Converse Creative Writing Program will feature regional and state poets at Hub City Tap House.

Friends of the Petrie School of Music present The Zimmerli Piano Concert featuring Wael Farouk.  A Spartanburg favorite since his days as a graduate student at the Petrie School of Music, Egyptian virtuoso Wael Farouk has performed around the world. He gave the Egyptian premieres of the Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 3, Brahms Piano Concerto No. 2, and Prokofiev Piano Concertos Nos. 1, 2, and 3, and in 2013 he made his New York solo recital debut at Carnegie Hall's Weill Hall.
