In this solo exhibition, Hannah Skoonberg's prints will be on display. Skoonberg describes her work as revolving "around ideas related to landscape. Landscapes that we create and landscapes that we inhabit. That intersection between artificial, man-made landscape and wild natural landscape becomes a place of emotional significance."  A Gallery Talk will be held on January 11th at 6:00pm.

The Aspen String Trio (AST) is one of the rare professional string trios performing and touring today. Celebrated for virtuoso performance offered with humor and insight, AST performs the complete trios of Beethoven, Mozart and Schubert, as well as lesser known blockbuster works by Dohnanyi, Hindemith, Martinu, Rozsa, Gideon Klein, Veress, Villa-Lobos and Ysaye, among others.

The Creative Writing Program will host a reading by poet Jessica Jacobs, the 2018 Sara Lura Mathews Self Distinguished Writer in Residence.  Jacobs is the author of Pelvis with Distance, winner of the New Mexico Book Award in Poetry and a finalist for the Lambda Literary Award. Her poetry, essays, and fiction have appeared or are forthcoming in publications including Orion, The Missouri Review, Alaska Quarterly Review, The Oxford American, and the Academy of American Poets' Poem-a-Day series.

Adapted from Tennessee Williams' famous play of the same title, Summer and Smoke tells one of the most heartbreaking love stories of all time. It's Mississippi at the turn of the 20th century. Alma, a preacher's daughter with an eccentric mother, harbors a secret infatuation with her rebellious neighbor, John. As the two wrestle between love and lust, Alma struggles to find her freedom and identity as a woman in the restrictive South.  This production is a collaboration between Converse Opera Theatre & Theatre Converse.  Please note this production is rated PG-13 for violence and sexual content.
