EXHIBITION: Drawings from Wobbly Days

September 30 - October 30 at 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Kreh Mellick’s drawings represent an ever-evolving need to relate fictions on paper. Her latest work will be featured in Drawings from Wobbly Days in the Milliken Art Gallery. In her current iteration, Mellick draws inspiration from folk art. Employing static motifs and repeat imagery, she strives to create a vocabulary using icons based in tradition. She pursues themes of woman, nature, domesticity, and power of work and home.
Mellick is an artist living and working in Asheville, NC.

The exhibition is located in the Milliken Art Gallery and is free of charge. Gallery hours are Sunday 2:00-5:00pm, Monday – Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. The Gallery is closed during school holidays.
