Instrumental Petting Zoo Nov. 2, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM Join us Saturday, November 2, for our annual Instrumental Petting Zoo! This free, interactive event is open to children of all ages and their families. Try out instruments of all kinds with Converse music students as your guides. Come in costume or come as you are!

Vienna Boys Choir Nov. 4, 7:30 PM The ensemble traces its roots to 1498, when Holy Roman Emperor Maximillian I moved his court to Vienna; in the centuries since, Mozart, Haydn, and Bruckner composed for the group, and Franz Schubert was among its countless illustrious alumni. Today, the Vienna Boys Choir consists of 100 boys between the ages of ten and fourteen. They receive a full academic curriculum – in between the international tours that have taken them to over 100 countries.

Exhibition: Art & Design Faculty Show Nov. 7-30 The 42nd presentation of this exhibition showcases the work of Converse's art faculty and is comprised of individuals with backgrounds in studio art, interior design, art education and art therapy. Previous exhibitions included such diverse media as printmaking, photography, sculpture, painting, drawing and ceramics. A reception of wine and hors d’oeuvres will be held on November 14 from 6:30-8:00pm in the gallery.

Heroes: A Veterans Day Concert Nov. 11, 8:00 PM Join the Converse Wind Ensemble for a special Veteran’s Day Concert that honors the men, women and families who have served our country in the Armed Forces. Performing classics like America the Beautiful paired with our favorite military tunes from across the ages, The Petrie School of Music is excited to celebrate the indomitable spirit of our veterans, their triumph over adversity, their resilience, and their love of country.

Theatre Converse: She Kills Monsters Nov. 21-23, 7:30 PM; Nov. 24, 2:30 PM After the death of her sister Tilly, Agnes Evans attempts to move on with her average life. However, upon the discovery of a notebook left behind by Tilly, Agnes embarks upon a dangerous quest to try to learn more about her sister. As she fights faeries and gelatinous cubes, Agnes learns more than she could have ever imagined – both about her sister and about the mystical world of Dungeons & Dragons. She Kills Monsters is by Qui Nguyen and is produced through special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.
