Did you know that in 2022 Governor Walz proclaimed October as Manufacturing Month here in Minnesota?

NTM has been a proud member of the manufacturing community for 46 years and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the state recognizing the achievements and importance of this industry. 

Join us in celebrating Manufacturing Month by setting up a tour to learn more about manufacturing. Minnesota State Advanced Manufacturing Center for Excellence is organizing a series of tours of manufacturers and tech schools across the Twin Cities region. This is a great opportunity to explore a shop and to learn more about the industry and tech schools.

Students, parents, and those looking for a career change in the industry are highly encouraged to register! 

As a proud supporter of the trades and manufacturing industry, I am thrilled to be a part of the MPMA’s Education Foundation Board, which raises funds and awareness of the importance of skilled trades education and careers.

Each year, MPMA hosts a Shoot for Scholarship fundraising event to raise money to inspire and motivate students with an interest in manufacturing and to receive training to become successful in the field. Last year 10 scholarships were awarded to students for $2,000 each! 

NTM is a proud sponsor of the Shoot for Scholarship event, and we hope to see you on September 27th for a fun-filled afternoon of lunch, and team target shooting.
