Meet One of Your Guides:
Pathway to Understanding the Benefits of Genomic Testing with Dr. Heather Cheng

Our Seattle Pathways event will provide a wide range of prostate cancer educational content and will feature a presentation on "Harnessing the Benefits of Genetic Testing" with Dr. Heather Cheng, Director at Prostate Cancer Genetics Clinic. Dr. Cheng says, "I'm grateful for this opportunity to talk to patients and caregivers about the new importance of inherited and cancer-specific genetics to prostate cancer. As a medical oncologist specializing in prostate cancer and genetics, I am excited to share knowledge about new precision treatment options, especially in advanced prostate cancer. It is gratifying to know that we can work together with our genetic counseling colleagues to, not only help our cancer patients, but also provide valuable information to family members that has the potential to save lives through early detection and cancer prevention."
