1215 S Wall Street, Belton, Texas 76513
We Need Your Help!
The Heart of Texas Red Cross has teamed up with the Belton Fire Department to install 800 fire alarms in Belton homes who need them. Why? Every day 7 people die in home fires. The installation of smoke alarms can help prevent these deaths.

120 volunteers are needed. No that is not a typo. 120 volunteers are needed to register, install, and educate. You will be trained and no experience is required. All equipment will be provided as well as refreshments.

Just In: Miller's Smokehouse!

That's right, everyone's favorite, Miller's Smokehouse in Belton, will be providing free lunch to those helping out with Sound the Alarm Effort. An extra thank you to them.
Volunteers are Needed To:
• Install the alarms. All equipment is provided. You will need to
be able to climb a ladder.

• Educate the family about home fire safety while the alarm is
being installed. No ladder climbing required.

• Registration of volunteers.

• Logistics, the checking in and out of equipment.
Help Me Give a Count Please.
I need to be able to give the Red Cross a count of the volunteers, so please let me know as soon as possible. Remember to invite your friends and family to help with this community event! Many volunteers are needed. This is a great way to show the community our St. Francis spirit! You just might help save a life!
