This Sunday:
√  SOLEMNITY OF THE MOST HOLY BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST (CORPUS CHRISTI)

Masses at 8am & 10am
Holy Hour at 9am

Live-stream for 10 Mass inside.

After Holy Mass, we will have a procession in the streets of Newark to proclaim our love & adoration of the Body, Blood, Soul & Divinity of Jesus!

√ It is also Father's Day this Sunday. The mothers of the parish are honoring the fathers and organizing a party to take place after the procession on that day. Please contact Lovelyn Okafor (908-868-5852) for more information and to be part of the party planning .

√ Worship & fellowship in French! Tomorrow, Saturday, June 18 is the first in-person prayer meeting of the FRENCH FELLOWSHIP IN JESUS (prayer group) which will be held every 3rd Saturday of the month at 2pm. This will be held in the main church. Everyone is welcome, especially French speaking worshippers.
For more information, contact Davila Kodea @ 973-289-6572

√ Divine Adoration Prayer Conference is coming in just a few weeks- July 15-17 (Friday to Sunday) Come for a glorious time with Jesus! Fr. Trevor Nathasingh & Fr Peter Okafor among the anointed speakers. See flyer inside.
Heads up!
√ Children's Mini Tent Revival (Life in the Spirit Seminar) is on July 20-23, Wednesday thru Saturday. Hours are from 9am to 3 pm. This is for children ages 7-12. Register your children soon by calling Sr Genevieve Okafor, DMMM at 862-215-2198.
This is a great opportunity to engage our children during the school vacation when they have too much free time. Get them away from the Internet & all devices! And immerse them in 3 days of intensive but amazingly fun Holy Spirit workout, with praise & worship, bible stories, and an animated children's Life in the Spirt Seminar, culminating in prayers for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. And in between, plenty of fun games, arts & crafts, performance in a musical play, and more! We need volunteers and facilitators to help make this Tent Revival happen. More exciting details inside.
Heads up! Our Parish Picnic is set for Saturday, July 23 in the historic Ringwood State Park. Our reserved area is is right by a beautiful lake, surrounded by thick groves of trees, picnic grounds and playgrounds. We can go boating on the lake, go on hiking trails and visit the historic manor on the other side of the park . Or just hang out and enjoy the barbecue on the grill.
This picnic is the day after the Children's Tent Revival. The plan is for the children who attended the Tent Revival to present a prepared musical play during our picnic.
As had been announced earlier, this picnic doubles as the parish celebration for Fr Joseph's 30th anniversary. We did have a small anniversary reception last May 29 after Mass (the day before his actual anniversary), but this picnic is the intended bigger celebration. So please come with your whole family. We need volunteers to organize this picnic. More inside!
Our deepest condolence to Jacinta & Vincent Aniebue & family on the loss of Jacinta's beloved father, Chief Clement Nwoye Obiechina, who passed away on May 18. He was 90 years old. We will post an obituary and the date for the Memorial Mass for him at St Antoninus as soon as the information becomes available.
Eternal rest grant unto Clement, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in the Lord's Peace. Amen.

Heads up! Our Parish Picnic is on Saturday, July 23!

Outdoor Mass is at 12 Noon
Below are some photos of Shepherd's Lake, the area that has been reserved for us.
Ringwood State Park is a 5,000 acre state park with many hiking trails. Ringwood State Park entrance is just across the street from the NJ Botanical Garden entrance and Shepherd’s Lake.
In addition to the hiking trails, there is a small playground for little children and a serene area of babbling brooks with a bridge and picnic tables

The spring-fed waters of the 74-acre Shepherd Lake offer excellent recreational opportunities, as well as providing a stunning backdrop for a barbecue.
The area also offers picnicking, a playground, boating, fishing and access
to a network of trails suitable for hiking, mountain biking and other activities.
A great time and place to be with
Family & friends!
