A Note from Zack+ Regarding St. Bartholomew's Community Preschool

As you may have read yesterday in the St. Bart's Weekly Enews, the Vestry of the parish recently made the very difficult decision to close the St. Bartholomew's Community Preschool at the conclusion of the 2023-2024 school year.

During this season of transition, I want to personally underscore our commitment to Children, Youth, and Families at St. Bart's. Rest assured that our Sunday morning and seasonal Christian Formation programs for young people will continue without interruption, and I am delighted to share that our beloved Effie DiPrenda will be continuing as St. Bart's Children's Minister for the foreseeable future. St. Bart's remains "A Place for Kids," and I look forward to our future together.

Kids' Club

This week: Make crafts for the Christmas Pageant!

Children in grades K-5 meet for St. Bart's Kids' Club in Room 52 of the Community House. Through arts, crafts, movement, and games, we bring the stories of Christ to life, and make church fun!

During this time, Youth at the Center for grades 6-12 meets in Room 32, and many adults attend The Forum in the Great Hall.

11 am

Kids' Church

This week: Singing God's Song!

At 11 am, Kids' Club moves downstairs to the worship service in the church. Just before the sermon, all children are invited to join Kids' Church in the chapel, which includes an age-appropriate time of prayer, music, and a lesson.

While designed especially with children in grades K-5 in mind, all are welcome, including parents and older or younger siblings.

During Advent, all children are also invited to come forward to the front of the church at the very beginning of the service to help light the congregation's Advent wreath! Arrive to the church by 10:55 am to join the festivities.
