A Message from The Rev. Mary Bea Sullivan

The Rev. Mary Bea Sullivan recently spent a week in Tortola, one of the British Virgin Islands that suffered major devastation after Hurricane Irma.

As you may know, we are currently collecting funds to support the Ebeneezer Primary School in Tortola that will go toward rebuilding the library which was destroyed the hurricane. Checks may be made out to Saint Luke’s with “Tortola” indicated on the memo line.

Saturday, June 2nd, from 8 am to Noon:

Volunteer at Norwood Elementary School. Volunteers will clear garden beds in

preparation for the Junior Master

Gardener Summer Camp hosted by

Norwood Resource Center. Tools

provided, please bring a pair of work

gloves. Contact Mark LaGory if you are interested.

Sunday, June 3rd: Saint Luke's Outreach will host a short training class for

Norwood Junior Master Gardener

volunteers from noon to 2:00 pm in room 212. This training is required for all

volunteers of this program. A light lunch will be served. Contact Mark LaGory or

Cameron Nations to sign up.

June 4th - July 9th: Our greatest need is

for volunteers during The Junior Master Gardener camp at Norwod Elementary

School. There are a variety of volunteer

opportunities available.

Come Visit us During VBS!

Vacation Bible School is June 4th - 7th! The theme this year is "Ancient Jerusalem, 954 BC" and includes a marketplace model in the pavilion. During the time of King David, we visit shopkeepers and hear lessons on the Commandments.
