The Word is Moving to a New Time Slot....AGAIN!

Friends, this Sunday 5/20, The Word service is moving to 9:30 am and will remain in this time slot for the duration of the summer. Our previous 9:15 am time slot did not allow enough time to turn Graham Hall over from breakfast. Our apologies for any confusion this causes and thank you for your understanding!

Outreach Spotlight

Volunteer with us on Saturday, June 2nd, from 8 am to Noon, at Norwood Elementary School. Volunteers will clear garden beds in preparation for the Junior Master Gardener Summer Camp hosted by Norwood Resource Center. Tools provided, please bring a pair of work gloves. Contact Mark LaGory (205.307.8078) if you are interested.

Our greatest need is for volunteers during the camp. The Junior Master Gardener camp is June 4th - June 9th at Norwood Elementary School. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available. Saint Luke's Outreach will host a short training class for Norwood Junior Master Gardener volunteers from noon to 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 3rd (in room 212). This training is required for all volunteers of this program. A light lunch will be served. Contact Mark LaGory or Cameron Nations to sign up.
