ADVENT STARTS IN 8 DAYS
Advent 2021 will begin on Sunday, Nov 28 and ends on Friday, Dec 24. This year, our parish Advent mission is to reflect on the Nativity of Jesus through the eyes of St. Joseph. We chose this St Joseph Advent series from Ascension Press - as we are coming to the close of the Year of St Joseph (started on Dec 8, 2020 and ending on Dec 8 2021). It is not too late to avail of the extraordinary blessings that come from getting to know our Spiritual Father and the patron of the Universal Church, and especially as we prepare for the celebration of the coming of our Lord and Savior, both at Christmas and at His Second Coming- which is what Advent is all about. Inside, near bottom of this newsletter, watch an introductory video on our Advent Parish Mission series.
Tomorrow (and every Saturday)
Divine Adoration Prayer Meeting will be the Main Church ( but is usually in the Lower Church) Come in person or participate on Youtube - click here.

The amazing blessing of our 2021 Thanksgiving Harvest for Divine Restoration happened last Sunday, November 14.

Watch for final edition #10 Thanksgiving Harvest report - coming soon on a separate newsletter!

Tomorrow Saturday, Nov. 20th
In memory of Cornelia Julien, Kenwyn & Judy’s mother, we will have a Winter Clothing Drive. The distribution date is tomorrow from 9am to 11AM.
Please come and help in this outreach for God's people in the neighborhood.

This Tuesday: November 23rd
Tuesday, Nov 23, Annual Thanksgiving food distribution & prayer ministry
On Tuesday, Nov 23, St Antoninus will collaborate with the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal in our annual Thanksgiving food distribution and prayer ministry. This outreach is for our brothers and sisters in our neighborhood. We will be gathering in our main church at 10am with about 200 of our brothers and sisters right around us. We will have a brief time of praise and worship, preaching and prayer ministry, followed by the distribution of turkeys and other food items for thanksgiving dinner.

Next Saturday: Nov. 27th
Feast of our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. Come to our 12 Noon Mass in honor of our Blessed Mother and be invested with the Miraculous Medal!

Ralph Martin - Archbishop Gomez Hits a Home Run; Who is Next Up to Bat?
Archbishop Gomez, President of the American Bishops Conference and Archbishop of Los Angeles, recently gave a speech which directly addressed the pressures from the politically correct “woke culture” that is increasingly hostile to Christ and the Church.
Following upon Pope Benedict XVI’s warning about the demands of the culture to bow down before it and the specter of the anti-Christ and President Putin’s warning that the dominant Western culture is now thoroughly following the Marxist play book that led to such disaster in Russia, Archbishop Gomez’ strong warnings and "simple solution" are well worth paying attention to. Now, who else will step up?

Scripture Study
We have added a video series by Dr. Brant Pitre to our Tuesday Night Scripture Study. Join us in person and on Zoom! Start with the Rosary at 7pm (Rosary every nite at 7pm), then the Scripture Study starts at 8pm.
A note about Dr Pitre:

Dr Brant Pitre is a renowned & insightful Bible scholar.

What blessing it is to listen to Dr Pitre's study on the Mass readings, to " be instructed in the Old Testament background of the Gospel, the Jewish rabbinical tradition, the testimony and interpretation of the early Church Fathers, the Church's magisterial teaching, and the personal insights of a leading Catholic Scripture scholar.
Dr. Pitre makes the Scripture come alive, and his love for God's Word comes through loud and clear. He communicates profound insights into Scripture in a manner available to everyone, from the beginner to the accomplished student or scholar"
Fr. Miles Walsh, S.T.D.
