Prior to Thanksgiving, the parish was invited to help Catholic Charities with a Diaper Drive. Because of your generosity and care for our sisters and brothers in the Lord, the Catholic Charities Diaper Depot in November was supported by parishioners who gave over 3,000 diapers and $300 in donations. Thanks for your generous support to families of young children. I shared with you in November that there would be a diaper drive in the New Year. If you are able, you are invited to support the success of the 13
th Annual Ted's Diaper Drive January 21st - February 11th.
You can help in the following ways:

2. Porch drop-off any time at the following locations:
Church of St. Mary Parish Center
;
Elizabeth Simutis 280

How do you know God loves you? How do you celebrate the love God has for you? Parents, teachers, catechists, family members, and priests help pass on the faith to the younger generation.
You may recall the words of the lyrics, of the song,
Yes, Jesus Loves Me
. To help jog your memory here are the words of the first verse and refrain -
Jesus loves me this I know; For the Bible tells me so; Little ones to Him belong; They are weak but He is strong . . . and the refrain - Yes Jesus loves me; Oh, yes Jesus loves me; Yes Jesus loves me for the Bible tells me so.
Our second graders are preparing to celebrate God's love for them in two of the beautiful sacraments of the Catholic Church, the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the Sacrament of Holy Communion. On Saturday, January 20

our second graders and their families are celebrating God's healing and forgiving love in the sacrament of reconciliation. I invite you to pray that our children grow up knowing a loving God who wants to help them in their struggles, overcome their temptations, and forgive them of their sins. May all in the Church trust in God's redeeming love, God's healing love shared in the sacrament of reconciliation.
Our second graders will come to the altar to share their First Holy Communion later this year, on April 28
