Additional Info Sessions
Thank you to everyone who attended the AYA Atid Evening Update. As you heard, the AYA Atid (Future) Plan aims to reinvent the school and provide a 5-star experience for all AYA students, families, and educators. To learn more about the AYA Atid (Future) Plan, please explore our resources and FAQs here.

We are glad to offer additional Atid plan information sessions for those who were unable to attend our previous meeting. These sessions will be held at the following times in the Welcome Center Board Room:

  • Monday, February 27th from 8:15am–10:15am
  • Thursday, March 2nd from 8:00pm–10:00pm

Full STEAM Ahead
Our High School students impressed judges at the regional Technology Student Association competition. Congratulations to Ethan Gubin, Tali Gubin (above, center), Rebeeca Rivka Guttman (above, right), Solomon Prengler (below), Shira Sabo (above, left), Sarah Schussler, and Lillian Yalovsky. Many of their award-winning projects are expected to advance to the state TSA competition!

A uniformed member of the Israel Defense Forces visited our Lower, Middle, and High School students.
Our Early Childhood students enjoyed Adar-inspired dancing — just like their peers in Kindergarten through 12th Grade.
The spring slate of after-school Discovery programs are in full swing —including our "Lil Chefs" in Cooking class.
The Lower School atrium has been transformed into scenes from Aladdin by our Bnot Sherut in anticipation of the 5th Grade Hebrew Play.

Support AYA and join us at this year's Annual Fundraiser, Tevye Comes to AYA, by award-winning Broadway star, Steven Skybell, most recently seen in the acclaimed revival of Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish, directed by Joel Grey, and Zalmen Mlotek world-renowned conductor, musical director, and artistic director of National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene.

Shabbat meal hosts: Additional families are needed to welcome our Bnot Sherut — Roni Eliasian of Jerusalem and Roni Wishengrad of Gedera — for Shabbat meals over the Chaggim and Shabbatot of the school year:
Challah may be ordered directly from Ron the Baker (email) and will be available for pick-up on Friday mornings, before noon, at the Yiddishe Kup Cafe in the Welcome Center atrium.
