SUNDAY SERVICE WITH THE REV. CHRIS BREEDLOVE. Sermon:  Are We Possessed by Possessions, or Are We Free in the Spirit? Scripture :Luke 12: 32-40. Music: Kristin Burns, guest pianist. Cindy Anderson and Laurel Anderson, guest musicians. Anthem:  Grazioso  JC Bach.
CHILDREN'S SUMMER PROGRAM.  Children and youth age 3 through 12th grade are invited to join their parents for the first part of worship and gather in the front of the Sanctuary for Children's time. Children and youth will then leave with their teachers for their age-based groups in the Learning Center. The program will end at 11:15 a.m.

WOMEN'S FELLOWSHIP will meet at noon on Tuesday, August 13. Bring a bag lunch and join us in the Fireside Room. Contact Ann Nelson for questions.

OUR SECOND ANNUAL  SATURDAY OF SERVICE is September 7th. Breakfast from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 am and Activities from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. This is an intergenerational day of helping our community. We have exciting service opportunities both onsite, in Parish Hall, and offsite.  Sign up for the whole family or on your own and bring friends! There must be something that's close to your heart. ALL CHURCH PICNIC is Sunday, September 8, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Patriot Corner Picnic Area at Shoup Park. Bring your own food and drinks. Fellowship Board will light up the grill for BBQ and there will be activities and music.

NEW! LADIES' BRUNCH, starting in September, will meet the 3rd Monday, at 11:00 am at Rick's CafĂ© on State Street. The topic for September is WHERE WOULD YOU CHOOSE TO LIVE IF YOU HAD TO LEAVE THE COUNTRY? Talk to Sandra Overton for more information


LECTIONARY BIBLE STUDY meets Mondays, 3:00 P.M. - 4:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room. Revs. Melanie Weiner and Chris Breedlove facilitate the discussion, focusing on the scriptures that form the theme of the next Sunday's sermon. New participants are always welcome.

CIRCLE OF WOMEN meets the fourth Monday from 7:00 P.M. - 9:00 p.m. for potluck and sharing.
