SUNDAY SERVICE WITH THE REV. CHRIS BREEDLOVE.   Sermon: Mary, The Mother of Jesus. Scripture: Luke 1: 39-56. Music: Joyful Noise Bell Choir, P.L. Grove directing. Anthem: Sup Gan Welsh arr Lamb.
CHILDREN'S PROGRAM AND MUSIC:  Children and youth age 3 through 12th grade are invited to join their parents for the first part of worship and gather in the front of the Sanctuary for Children's time. Children and youth will then leave with their teachers for their age-based groups in the Learning Center. The program will end at 11:15 a.m. 

ELEMENTARY CHOIR  (K through 5) rehearses from 11:15 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. in the Choir Room

CHRISTMAS TEA  is Tuesday, December 11 at the Closs home, 10320 West Loyola Dr., Los Altos Hills. Lunch starts at noon. If you are able, bring a plate of finger food to share.  A check donation made out to the Community Services Agency is optional. Carpool from church, latest 11:45 a.m. All are welcome. 
CHILDREN AND YOUTH AGE 6 AND UP ARE INVITED  to a church slumber party on December 14-15.  We will serve dinner and breakfast and conclude with our pageant rehearsal.  Please contact Pastor Melanie with questions.  RSVP by December 10.

THE CHRISTMAS PAGEANT  will be the sermon for next Sunday. This is a wonderfully homespun reminder of Jesus' birth narrative.  Our Pageant is open to people of all ages. We ask each person to choose a character, traditional or nontraditional, and explore that character's experience of the Christmas story. Rehearsal is 9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m., Saturday. If you want to participate, please contact Rev. Melanie Weiner immediately.

LECTIONARY BIBLE STUDY meets Mondays at 3:00 p.m. in the Maple Room. Revs. Melanie Weiner and Chris Breedlove facilitate the discussion, focusing on the scriptures that form the theme of the next Sunday's worship and sermon. New participants are always welcome. 

KNITTING CIRCLE meets the second Wednesday between 1:00 -2:30 p.m. Come knit a prayer shawl, baby blanket or just your own project. Questions? Talk to Lisa DiTiberio.

MEN'S BREAKFAST meets 8:00 a.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at the Original Pancake House on San Antonio Road. Contact Charlie Golden for more information.

JOYFUL NOISE HANDBELL CHOIR. I f you've ever thought about ringing with the bell choir, now would be a good time to stand up and be counted! You don't need to know anything about bells. Short-term commitments (a month at a time) welcome! If you're interested, talk with PL or Fred. The bell choir rehearses most Wednesdays from 6 p.m. until 7.30 p.m. in the meeting room.
FOOTHILLS' CHOIR NEEDS YOU!  Can't attend Wednesday rehearsals? Don't read music? Sing with the easy choir! Just show up at 9:15 a.m. on the first Sunday of the month in the sanctuary.

TRUTHSEEKERS  is taking a break until January 10, when we will study How Jesus Became God from The Great Courses, taught by Bart Ehrman, PhD, MDiv.  This course will explore scholarly and theological views of Jesus' identity.
