CHILDREN'S PROGRAM AND MUSIC Children and youth age 3 through 12th grade are invited to join their parents for the first part of worship and gather in the front of the Sanctuary for Children's time. Children and youth will then leave with their teachers for their age-based groups in the Learning Center. The program will end at 11:15 a.m. 

ELEMENTARY CHOIR (K through 5) rehearses from 11:15 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. in the Choir Room.

LINE DANCING with Richard Campbell is 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 14 and 21, in the Parish Community Hall. It is free to Foothills members. The class will start with some easy dances and the regular members will move on to the dances they already know. Great music, good workout will keep you high stepping into the New Year. MID WINTER CAMP for 6th - 8th grade will be January 18-20, 2020. Organized by the NCNC UCC Youth & Outdoor Ministries, the retreat is held at Community of Great Commission, Foresthill. Early bird deadline is December 18. For registration and information, visit

OPEN FINANCE MEETING  is Sunday, January 19 immediately after the church service in the Parish Community Hall. The proposed 2020 budget and Outreach information will be explained. This is a Congregational meeting; we urge each member to plan to attend this important meeting.
FOOTHILLS' ANNUAL MEETING AND DINNER, The dinner starts at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 26 in the Parish Community Hall. The business meeting will follow at 6:30 p.m. The theme this year is 20/20 Vision for 2020.We invite you to dress up and/or wear a hat as if you were going to a New Year's Party. This is a New Year! This is a New Decade! And we are having a New Menu with pulled pork sliders as the entrée. Sign up to bring a side dish, salad or finger dessert. Feel free to bring your own dinner beverage such as wine or beer. We will provide some other non-alcoholic beverages before and during dinner as well as coffee. Childcare will be provided. YOUTH FELLOWSHIP meets from 11:45 a.m to 1:00 p.m. each Sunday. All youth in 6th -12th grades are encouraged to join in for conversation, games and snacks. Friends are welcome. Talk to Laurel Anderson.

LADIES' BRUNCH meets at 11:00 a.m. on the third Monday of each month. Join us at Rick's Café on State Street for fun and fellowship. Friends are welcome.

LECTIONARY BIBLE STUDY meets Mondays at 3:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room. Pastor Chris Breedlove facilities the discussion, focusing on the scriptures that form the theme of the next Sunday's worship and sermon. New participants are always welcome.

TRUTHSEEKERS  You're invited to attend Truth Seekers on Thursdays at 11:00 a.m.  Discussions include spiritual living, progressive theology, metaphysical ponderings, and perennial and contemporary spiritual philosophies. Weekly Truth Seeker conversations are facilitated by Rev. Dr. Breedlove. No previous reading or preparation is required ahead of Truth Seekers sessions-- just bring your open mind, heart, soul and sense of humor.

JOYFUL NOISE HANDBELL CHOIR, if you've ever thought about ringing with the bell choir, now would be a good time to stand up and be counted! You don't need to know anything about bells. Short-term commitments (a month at a time) welcome! If you're interested, talk with Gretchen or Fred. The bell choir rehearses most Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m - 7:30 p.m. in the meeting room.

FOOTHILLS CHOIR NEEDS YOU! To all the singers who don't read music, have plans Wednesday evenings or prefer to 'show up and sing'. We in the Easy Choir are looking for you! We meet in the Sanctuary at 9:15 am every 1st Sunday of the month. Want to sing more often? The Chancel Choir rehearses Wednesday evenings in the sanctuary. Fred Cummins can help with rehearsal schedule and answer any questions
