THE NEIGHBORS IN NEED OFFERING. Foothills expresses a commitment to justice and compassion throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. One third of this offering supports the work of the Council for American Indian Ministry, particularly for the twenty American Indian congregations in the UCC. Two thirds of the offering support direct grants to congregations, either to address issues of injustice on the local, regional, national, or international level, or to address issues of hunger and poverty. All Neighbors in Need grant recipients must reflect the UCC's vision: a church of Jesus Christ that is multi-racial, multi-cultural, open and affirming, and accessible to all. Please give generously to help support these goals.
