SEW MUCH SOFTNESS

Four intrepid GLCers made their way to Brooklyn Park, MN yesterday to choose and purchase fabric for fleece blankets. The blankets will be given to clients and families served by the Bliss Cancer Center and also to GLC graduates.

Pictured below are Cindy Clark, Denise Henderson and Kim Reilly. Not pictured, because she is busy with her cell phone camera, is Cindy Kruckenberg.

We’re grateful for these ladies, for the gifts they and all our sewers share and for the sweet goodness that will be stitched into over 81 yards of fabric.

A SPECIAL VISIT

On Wednesday, March 4, Brian Scott, Senior Advisor for Congregational Engagement with Lutheran World Relief, will visit GLC. This is a perfect time as that is also one of our quilting days. Brian will tell us about the amazing work that Lutheran World Relief is doing. And, at the same time, we’ll be able to share some of the ways GLC is part of that mission and ministry. The morning will begin at 9 o’clock and everyone is invited to attend!

MARCH ANNIVERSARIES & BIRTHDAYS

MARCH SERVICE COMMITTEE

Each month, a group of GLCers serves as our Service Committee. These friends help with Community & Conversation on the second Sunday of their month and may be called on to help with special events and/or funerals. The Service Committee is an extremely important and valued group! We are grateful for all the ways they share their gifts.
