TWO THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE . . .

. . . items were delivered to the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry in Story City last week!

The items were donated by residents of Gilbert and our local communities and gathered by Cub Scouts Pack 157 and Scouting America Troop 157. All of this is part of the Scouts’ annual community food drive.

And here's the best part . . .

Six lucky volunteers will have the opportunity to assist in distributing some of these donated items from our community at the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry this coming Saturday, May 16th from 9:30 - 12:30! Click on the button below if you would be able to help further this great initiative.

Thanks to EVERYONE for making a difference and for making God’s love real!

TOLA LECOÑA FAMILY UPDATE

Luz has completed and passed (with excellent scores) her phlebotomy certification class. She recently received her work permit, is actively looking for employment and would like to get a driver's license since they now own a car. Happy Birthday to Luz, who celebrated her birthday on May 2nd!

Alberto has also had a busy month! He has been working for Tangerine Zebra helping with estate sale preparations (thank you Cari Hague for providing this opportunity!). He has also been doing car detailing in his free time. He is a perfectionist, so please consider making an appointment with him if your vehicle is in need of a proper deep cleaning! Contact Allison Eness (515-708-3935) if you are interested.

Matias and Alma continue to be the light and joy of the Tola Lecoña family. They have season tickets to the swimming pool this summer so undoubtedly Mati will be excited to start summer vacation!
