Hands* were busy pinning, ironing, trimming, sewing and clipping colorful blankets for the Bliss Cancer Center. Hands* doing God's Work to help keep a patient warm while receiving treatment. The pictures show the process of making a blanket. The Thank You from a husband and wife, who recently received a blanket, illustrates just how important this work is.

*The hands on Monday were so speedy, they even had time to tie LWR Quilts!

Maybe not “again,” but the GLC Quartet sang at our 10 a.m. service on Sunday and then went to Bethany Life in Story City to be part of their worship gathering. We are grateful for all the ways Jeff, Jerry, Joel, Michael and Sharon bless us with their gifts and we are delighted too when they share their music with our friends to the north.

We are in need of worship leaders in the coming weeks. Readers, Ushers and Communion Assistants are a great way to serve and help enhance worship for all. Click on the button below if you would be willing to serve.

Our Annual Meeting will be called to order at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, January 25, 2026, in the church sanctuary. We will look back on our life and ministry in 2025, celebrate the present moments and look ahead to mission in 2026.

+ blessing for Ryker Cecil Jensen Huss. CJ, the son of Emily & Kevin Huss, and the grandson of Bill & Margie Scott, was born on Thursday.

+ comfort for the family and friends of Merlin Zeigler. Merlin passed away Saturday evening. + healing for Larry Bremer. Larry recently began chemotherapy to treat pancreatic cancer. He suffered a stroke last Tuesday night and has remained hospitalized.
